LUMINOUS DEPTHS COACHING

A guided process of inner exploration that facilitates connection with your deeper self: that wise, luminous being you are inside. Using a variety of depth methods  we'll engage the wisdom of your unconscious mind, your soul self and your body to facilitate transformational change.    Book

The bud
stands for all things,
even for those things that don't flower,
for everything flowers, from within, of self-blessing;
though sometimes it is necessary
to reteach a thing its loveliness,
to put a hand on its brow
of the flower
and retell it in words and in touch
it is lovely
until it flowers again from within, of self-blessing.

From poem "St. Francis and the Sow" by Galway Kinnell

As a healer and guide, this poem is dear to me, as it touches into the heart of the coaching relationship.  In our work together, we'll be exploring your inner world through the lens of your Soul Self, with love and an eye to developing that "self-blessing" - your inner healer.

Soul-centered coaching  reconnects you to your authentic self, and can assist you in releasing limiting beliefs and other programming that no longer serves you, replacing them with new, aligned beliefs that support your evolution.  The coaching work is a pracess that assists you in uncovering your gifts and calling in this life time. Soul-centered coaching is a transformational process of guiding personal transformation by engaging in somatic, symbolic, and shamanic approaches.

My coaching work is based on Jungian, Depth, Transpersonal, and Archetypal Psychologies, informed by the embodied wisdom I hold from three decades as a healing arts practitioner. Because the soul speaks in the language of dream, metaphor, feeling, symbol, and story, we'll be connecting with your Soul Self using somatic, symbolic, shamanic, and imaginal approaches. We'll use various depth techniques, including dialogue, active imagination, dream work, creative visualization, Shadow work, Focusing, the Felt Sense, journeying and other methods as needed.

3 PILLARS OF SOUL-CENTERED COACHING PSYCHOLOGY

SOMATIC

Connecting and engaging with the inherent wisdom of the body is a key element in my work.  Twenty seven years as a bodyworker and healer has steeped me deeply in the power of working with the body and the primacy of being fully embodied.  This aspect of the work will connect you more deeply to your body and the wisdom resources available there.

SYMBOLIC

I have a powerful, life long connection to the living energy inherent in symbols and images, whether encountered in the energy field, or in dreams, the arts, and creative practice. Images and symbols spontaneously arise in our consciousness especially through the arts, including writing, dance, and music.  Together, we'll uncover your unique images, symbols, stories and archetypes, accessing their power as a potent energy resource for daily life.

IMAGINAL/SHAMANIC
A key feature of Soul Centered Coaching is the foundation of experiential work that provides insight and guidance from within your own consciousness.  Each session includes a guided journey into expanded awareness.

ABOUT SOUL-CENTERED COACHING

Soul Centered Coaching is highly experiential.  In each session, we'll step away from linear, "day world" thinking processes, and into the expanded state of awareness where your true inner wisdom lives.   This shift brings new perspectives and resources to integrate into daily life.

Typically in a session, we'll start with a brief discussion of what's alive in you regarding current learnings, challenges or ongoing patterns followed by an experiential exercise.  The session will end with a look at how you might integrate the new material into daily life, using archetypal, energetic, and symbolic perspectives.

Soul-Centered Coaching is not psychotherapy, and the focus is on uncovering resources, shifting limiting beliefs, and moving beyond deep-rooted patterns in a gentle and safe way. It allows you to connect on a deep level with your Soul Self as you move more fully into an embodied experience of this expanded perspective.

As a Soul-Centered Coach, I also look for the way in which archetypes—a concept developed by Jung to describe the energy of pervasive and recognizable patterns—are already at work in your life.  Are you longing for deeper connection with your inner worlds?  With your Essence of Soul Self?  Are you wanting to explore deeper connection with Nature and the many beings that share the world with us?  Are you wanting transformation, to break free of limiting patterns and outmoded beliefs to expand your consciousness?  Soul centered Coachingcan assist you in this transformative process and torekindle a life of magic, mystery and wonder.

WHO SHOULD ENGAGE IN  SOUL-CENTERED COACHING?
Soul-centered coaching is an engaging way to work through blockages and find inspiration, purpose and meaning.  It can also assist in the integration of what might have arisen in you during other kinds of spiritual, depth psychological, or transpersonal work: including psychotherapy, meditation, dream work, somatic practices like yoga, Holotropic Breathwork, energy healing, shamanic journeying, or psychedelic sessions.  I also support spontaneous or ongoing spiritual processes, including mystical experiences, and psychic opening.
